I refuse to be ignored

I REFUSE TO BE IGNORED.
I am Young, yes I know,
Agewise but not mentally,
I am black, yes I know,
But does that relegate me to
‘The inferiors’ Hall of Fame?”
No!
I don’t think so,
I refuse to be ignored.

I am hapless, Yes I know,
But I also know that,
Poverty often bears innovation,
-the true path to real greatness,
And self actualization.
And so I still refuse to be ignored.

I know,
To you, I am very ugly,
But to God; fearfully and wonderfully made,
And I’ve never doubted Him.
So,
Even if you wont notice me,
I will still refuse to be ignored.
