In the mind
The much awaited chance,
To put my little thots into paper
Thoughts long expired,
Tossed to and fro
by the merciles sands of time,
doomed for oblivion and extinction,
in an unchanging environment
Of dreams and visions,
Visions so grand, so great
And so real
in the perfect world of imagination
And yet so FAKE in REALITY.
Realism aside,
Idealism suits the moment.
Come to think of it,
Evberything that ever existed,
Only does so in our little minds,
so... think it and
Voila!
it Exists

Man Wanders
Out of the crooked timber of humanity,
No straight timber was ever made,
Caution thrown to the wind, man tramples upon other’s rights
All in His zest to fulfill his desires.
Fits trodden upon,
Ribs elbowed against,
And ears treated,
To a sumptuous meal of foul world.
And of a hand is given?
Ingratitude is the payback .
Gratitude escaped the lexicons’ dragnets,
At least in its meaning
Humanity and humility,
Though rhyme they do,
Like water and oil they are,
When one is atop,
The other trodden down must,
Yet a heart exists,
All emotions housed therein,
How they coexist? None can tell,
Hate and love,
Tears and laughter,
Gratitude and ingratitude,
Humility and arrogance,
All in one shell?
Wonders never cease…
Yet they will
Ode To Dawn
ODE TO DAWN
We never sat down to chat,
But occasionally our eyes met and I said hi
You said hi too,
Now you are saying bye?
I never really got to know you,
Not at a personally level
But one thing I was sure of
You were good hearted,
At least I could feel it,
To colleagues,
Friends,
And foes if any,
You earned your respect,
You didn’t have to struggle to be loved,
It just came naturally form everyone who got to meet you,
Even for the shortest time,
To think that you gone is difficult,
At least that’s what a stranger like me feels,
I wonder what your family is going through,
It will take ages to accept the fact that we will never see you again,
At least not in our mortal spirits,
But we can accept the fact that wherever you are;
Your soul is at peace,
Your countenance gives us a glimpse into this
Among the angels you are looking down upon us,
For the short time you were loaned to us,
I know the message God gave you to bring to us,
You delivered,
As we look back and reminisce
The short but quality time some of us spent with you;
The message is yet to be interpreted by us
Mortal men
Quid pro Quo Oh! Dear brother, colleague son and friend.
