A note to my best friend,
A “while I was away” note to my soul mate,
I missed Your piece of mind,
I missed Your tender care,
I missed Your Grace,
That surpasses all understanding,
I longed for Your reassuring touch.

Far away from You,
I lost my SELF,
Blinded by my ego,
Clinging onto my id,
Dumb to my superego,

I treaded on dangerous grounds,

But as is habit,
I came back

And surprisingly,
Lord,
You accepted me back AGAIN

I leave this note,
